  4.           Screen Savers

  6.  We have tried to design the Curtains Screen Saver program
  7.  to be as simple and easy as possible.  Curtains is stored
  8.  in the Programs folder if you are using Windows and in
  9.  the Control Panel if you are using a Macintosh.  It is 
  10.  very important not to move any of Curtains files or 
  11.  folders on your computer or Curtains may not work.  
  12.  The follwing is a list of the features designed into 
  13.  Curtains:

  15.  CONTROL PANEL:
  16.  
  17.  "On/Off"    
  18.  
  19.                        Curtains for Windows:  This sets Curtains as
  20.                  the active screen saver or turns it off.  You 
  21.                  may also turn Curtains on or off via the
  22.                  Windows screen saver control panel.  
  23.  
  24.                        Curtains for Macintosh:  Macintosh users can
  25.                  only use the Curtains control panel to turn it
  26.                  on or off.  You must manually turn off any 
  27.                  other screen saver you have running.

  29.  "Set Timer"
  30.  
  31.                  Curtains for Windows:  Sets the time of 
  32.                  computer inactivity before the Screen Saver
  33.                  launches.  You may also set the timer from
  34.                  the Windows screen saver control panel.
  35.  
  36.                  Curtains for Macintosh:  Macintosh users can
  37.                  only use the Curtains control panel to set the 
  38.                        timer.

  40.  "Movie Selection"
  41.  
  42.                       Windows & Macintosh:  Allows you to select
  43.                  which screen saver movies are active.  You
  44.                  may also play the screen savers manually
  45.                  from this location.

  47.  "Resolution" 
  48.  
  49.                  Windows & Macintosh:  This feature allows
  50.                  you to work in one resolution(800 x 600 e.g.)
  51.                  and view the screen savers in 640 x 480
  52.                  which will fill your entire screen.  When you
  53.                  go back to work, Curtains will automatically 
  54.                  return you to your previous screen resolution.
  55.  
  56.                  Warning:  If you need to restart your 
  57.                  computer each time you change the 
  58.                  resolution, DO NOT USE THIS FEATURE !

  60.  "Password"  
  61.  
  62.                  Curtains for Windows:  Allows you to protect
  63.                  your computer from prying eyes.  When you 
  64.                  use your computer you must type in your 
  65.                  personal password before the screen saver 
  66.                  goes away.  You may also set your password
  67.                  from the Windows screen saver control panel.
  68.  
  69.                  Curtains for Macintosh:  Macintosh users can
  70.                  only use the Curtains control panel to set the 
  71.                        password.

  73.      NOTE:  If you forget your password, the only way to
  74.                  get back into your computer is to shut it off
  75.                  and enter a new password when it comes on.
  76.                  You will lose all unsaved information and it's
  77.                  not good for your computer so remember
  78.                  your password.

  80.  "Interval"
  81.  
  82.                       Windows & Macintosh:  This feature allows 
  83.                  you to change the frequency in which the 
  84.                  Screen Savers in your "active" window 
  85.                 (located in "Movie Selection") are shown.  You
  86.                  have the following four choices:

  88.                      1.  Change Screen Saver each time 
  89.                      2.  Change Screen Saver each day 
  90.                      3.  Change Screen Saver each week
  91.                      4.  Change Screen Saver each month
  92.  
  93.  "Sound"
  94.  
  95.                  Windows & Macintosh:  Here you can set the 
  96.                  volume for your Screen Savers or you can 
  97.                  mute them.  There is a feature under options
  98.                  which will mute the sound if you place the 
  99.                  cursor in the lower right corner of your 
  100.                  screen.

  102.  "To Our
  103.  Website"  
  104.  
  105.                  Windows & Macintosh:  This allows you direct
  106.                  access to our website, but just in case our
  107.                  address is:

  111.  We have many more screen saver movies planned for 
  112.  release in the near future which you may download 
  113.  from our website.  You may order them by collection as 
  114.  in "The Yosemite Collection," or you may order them  
  115.  individually.
