Curtains
Screen Savers
We have tried to design the Curtains Screen Saver program
to be as simple and easy as possible. Curtains is stored
in the Programs folder if you are using Windows and in
the Control Panel if you are using a Macintosh. It is
very important not to move any of Curtains files or
folders on your computer or Curtains may not work.
The follwing is a list of the features designed into
Curtains:
CONTROL PANEL:
"On/Off"
Curtains for Windows: This sets Curtains as
the active screen saver or turns it off. You
may also turn Curtains on or off via the
Windows screen saver control panel.
Curtains for Macintosh: Macintosh users can
only use the Curtains control panel to turn it
on or off. You must manually turn off any
other screen saver you have running.
"Set Timer"
Curtains for Windows: Sets the time of
computer inactivity before the Screen Saver
launches. You may also set the timer from
the Windows screen saver control panel.
Curtains for Macintosh: Macintosh users can
only use the Curtains control panel to set the
timer.
"Movie Selection"
Windows & Macintosh: Allows you to select
which screen saver movies are active. You
may also play the screen savers manually
from this location.
"Resolution"
Windows & Macintosh: This feature allows
you to work in one resolution(800 x 600 e.g.)
and view the screen savers in 640 x 480
which will fill your entire screen. When you
go back to work, Curtains will automatically
return you to your previous screen resolution.
Warning: If you need to restart your
computer each time you change the
resolution, DO NOT USE THIS FEATURE !
"Password"
Curtains for Windows: Allows you to protect
your computer from prying eyes. When you
use your computer you must type in your
personal password before the screen saver
goes away. You may also set your password
from the Windows screen saver control panel.
Curtains for Macintosh: Macintosh users can
only use the Curtains control panel to set the
password.
NOTE: If you forget your password, the only way to
get back into your computer is to shut it off
and enter a new password when it comes on.
You will lose all unsaved information and it's
not good for your computer so remember
your password.
"Interval"
Windows & Macintosh: This feature allows
you to change the frequency in which the
Screen Savers in your "active" window
(located in "Movie Selection") are shown. You
have the following four choices:
1. Change Screen Saver each time
2. Change Screen Saver each day
3. Change Screen Saver each week
4. Change Screen Saver each month
"Sound"
Windows & Macintosh: Here you can set the
volume for your Screen Savers or you can
mute them. There is a feature under options
which will mute the sound if you place the
cursor in the lower right corner of your
screen.
"To Our
Website"
Windows & Macintosh: This allows you direct
access to our website, but just in case our
address is:
www.digiscapes.com/curtains
We have many more screen saver movies planned for
release in the near future which you may download
from our website. You may order them by collection as
in "The Yosemite Collection," or you may order them
individually.
